Dr. Mohamed A. Zaazoue is a specialist neurosurgeon and a social entrepreneur. He specializes in spinal surgeries, including complex spine deformities. He is currently an orthopedic spine surgery fellow at the prestigious department at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Zaazoue has received several awards and recognitions. Most recently, he was selected to be part of a small cohort of emerging young investigator at the prestigious Academy meeting. He was named one of Forbes' "30 Under 30" most influential people under 30 in the world in 2014. He was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2019 and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in 2021. He has also received the Starts of Social Entrepreneurship award from the American Chamber of Commerce in 2015, the Rexley Cross Award from the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations in 2012, and the Urban Ingenuity Award in 2012. He also received the Best Project Award from the East Mediterranean Region Meetings in 2011.
